Paul Manousos: Buy Music
About the CD For Better or Worse:
Paul Manousos’ solo debut For Better or Worse introduces audiences to a passionate, charismatic singer/songwriter whose talents are no secret to in-the-know music lovers worldwide. The 12 tracks produced by Steve Fisk (Nirvana, Soundgarden) and mastered by Greg Calbi (John Lennon, Bob Dylan) range from radio-ready conscious pop and fist-in-the-air anthems to heart-rending ballads—all documenting the joy, the doubt, the hurt and the hope that comes with taking the risk to live a life.
The songs on For Better or Worse speak to friends–both selfish and embracing, lovers lost and found, the betrayed and the betrayers, fighters and quitters. Hearts and souls get trampled and the lights go out, but this isn’t a sad record, it is a redemptive one. The chances taken, the highs reached and the pain felt all lead to the ability to move on, find refuge or taste freedom and we are left convinced that after all is said and done it’s gonna be alright.
